Eddy, the table lamp, is a study in proportions: an airy shade floats over a substantial, organic foundation, creating a style that is both balanced and dynamic. The key elements are steel and marble, with golden shimmers of brass completing the I on this atmospheric lamp.
The table lamp is made up of a plain steel screen with an integrated LED light source that sits atop a hand-turned Italian marble lamp base. The proportion between a slim neck and a bulky body, which forms a simultaneously lively and dense silhouette, emphasises the rotation process.
A golden rotation point in the shape of a shiny brass ball connects the lampshade and the base. To monitor the path of the sun, the shade can be tipped around the ball. Eddy illuminates not only its surroundings but also itself with its downward-facing screen. Its light shines down on the marble, highlighting the material's shifting nature. The soft light from the table lamp can be balanced using the circular brass dimmer that forms a refined detail on the lampshade's end.
